Amazing hopper! I bought a few of these from Desert Sportsman in Scottsdale a couple months ago and used them on small creeks outside of Payson, AZ and caught majority of my trout on these hoppers. Now that I’m back in Arkansas I’ve been using them all the time and trout and bream go crazy over them. Especially bream in small creeks! I would recommend everyone to keep these little guys in you arsenal anywhere you’re fishing!

Thanks for the kind words Seth. Glad to hear they are doing the trick for you. Take care.

Why can’t I rate these higher?
Without a doubt, these are my summer terrestrial go-to’s. I’ve bought multiple packs for myself and my pals. We all agree, these are the best of the best for hoppers.
These little guys are the Kings of Summer; hands down.

Thanks Adam.

I think I may have been one of the test anglers for this fly back in 2011. Just lost my last one on a big bow on the Yakima in Washington. Gonna place an order for some more. They seem to work on just about any river I happen on.

Thanks Eric. Those were some good times floating the big D. Hope to make it back there some day. Take care.

I think size 12 is ideal. 10 or 14 would work just fine too.

What size are these mini hoppers?

They are tied on a size 12 dry fly hook. I’m happy to do up a custom order to fit your needs. Feel free to email me at ben@azwanderings.com
